The New Performing Arts Complex
Where Culture Meets Investment:
In the process of being built, the new performing arts venue at QPAC, with a budget of $175 million, will introduce a 1500-seat theater. This addition is aimed at satisfying the current demand from audiences and producers while contributing to the ongoing expansion of the performing arts scene in Queensland.
At present, QPAC orchestrates more than 1200 performances every year, boasting a remarkable attendance record of 1.5 million people in the 2017/18 period. With the new theater fully operational, there is the prospect of accommodating an extra 300,000 visitors annually.
The NPAV will showcase an interpretive curtain crafted from curved glass that wraps around the structure. This design imparts a unique ambiance, presenting the entire building as a theatrical space. The riparian facade's texture and form, along with the chosen materials, draw inspiration from the water's edge near Kurilpa Point on the Brisbane River.
Theatre days just got more exciting!
The Brisbane Metro
A Lucrative Investment in Connectivity:
